Lauren Dube-Scott

Minister of Faith Formation
(she/her/hers)

Lauren Dube-Scott recently graduated from Andover Newton Seminary at Yale Divinity School. Lauren is a Connecticut native and a graduate of Loomis Chaffee and Central Connecticut State University, where she studied Sociology and Religious Studies.

Lauren has over fifteen years of experience in children and youth ministry, serving in various volunteer and staff roles in the area throughout that time. Her focus is on building inclusive church school communities and intergenerational ministry. Lauren has a strong passion for community organizing, especially with GHIAA and the Center for Leadership and Justice and intertwines this work with faith formation frequently.

She is a member in discernment in the Hartford Association of the UCC and considers First Church Windsor her home church. Lauren and her spouse Alex both grew up as close friends in Windsor. They recently moved back to their hometown where they are raising their child Elliott and their dog Missy. In her free time you'll find her working hard on her native flower garden!
