One of the cornerstones of Immanuel is its Music Ministry. Hymns, anthems, organ and service music are interwoven throughout worship, deepening our relationship with God and each other. With a wide variety of musical styles and traditions, Immanuel opens the doors of welcome with song.

The Immanuel Chancel Choir

The Immanuel Chancel Choir enriches each worship service with a diverse offering of music, blending scripture and poetry with the spirit of warmth and community. A family comprised of all ages and backgrounds, the Chancel Choir is a safe place for artistic growth and expression. Our Director of Music, Amanda Hanzlik, and our Organist, Stephen Scarlato, guide and shape the beautiful sounds that voices can raise.

The Chancel Choir rehearses each Thursday evening, and on Sunday morning before worship.

Worship Services

While each Sunday is blessed with inspiring music, there are also a number of special services throughout the year that feature Immanuel’s Music Ministry. Hallmarks include Rally Sunday, Lessons & Carols and our children’s Christmas Pageant, as well as a prominent presence each Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday. Join us and be drawn into the life-giving presence of God through music.
